- 1. What is the difference between Gel and BIAB?
Gel Polish provides a long-lasting, glossy colour finish and is ideal for naturally strong nails. BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) offers added strength, structure, and protection — perfect for weaker nails or anyone wanting to encourage healthy growth.
- 2. I’ve got a broken nail, is it worth having a manicure?
Please note that we do not offer nail extensions, but we can repair a broken nail using ProForm (*add on) to ensure your manicure looks seamless and beautifully finished. It's amazing what a manicure can do. Your nails will be cared for and the team will guide you to achieve the best results.
*Add on will need to be booked for additional work (nail repairs).

Most manicures last 2–3 weeks, depending on your nail condition, lifestyle, and aftercare. BIAB may offer even longer wear due to its added strength and durability.
For ongoing maintenance, return every 2–3 weeks for BIAB or gel re-application to maintain strength, prevent lifting, and keep your nails looking their best. - 4. Does this change if I’m coming from another salon or wearing hard gel/acrylic?
We do not offer acrylic and are unable to remove this from your nails. We recommend you return to the salon that applied your acrylic to remove this.
If you are arriving with hard gel or gel from another salon, an add on will be required through the Online Booking or by contacting the salon.
Removal times may vary, and nail condition can differ depending on previous products used. We must ensure the time is allocated to safely remove previous products used. - 5. How can I maintain healthy nails at home?
Use cuticle oil daily, moisturise regularly, wear gloves for household tasks, and avoid picking or peeling product off your nails. These simple habits help extend your manicure and support strong, healthy nails.

Yes — we provide professional gel removal to protect nail health. This is included in the pedicures.
For maintenance, we recommend returning every 4–6 weeks to keep feet smooth, nails tidy, and polish or gel looking fresh. - 2. What’s the difference between Gel and normal polish for pedicures?
Gel (The Gel Bottle) offers high shine and lasts 4-6 weeks — ideal for holidays or long-wear.
Normal polish or NailBerry varnish is perfect if you prefer something breathable or easy to remove at home. - 3. How long will the results of my pedicure last?
Most clients enjoy smooth, healthy feet for 3–6 weeks, depending on lifestyle, footwear, and home care. Using foot cream regularly and avoiding harsh filing helps maintain results longer.
- 4. Can a pedicure help with dry, cracked heels?
Yes — our Classic and Luxury pedicures use the ELIM Peel System and targeted heel treatment to soften dry, cracked areas. Consistent monthly pedicures and good home care will significantly improve heel texture over time. We stock a full range of ELIM Pedicure products to ensure the best long-lasting results.
- 5. Is a pedicure safe if I have sensitive skin or ticklish feet?
Yes — all steps are tailored to your comfort. We use gentle exfoliation methods, and pressure can be adjusted throughout. The ELIM system is designed to be effective yet soothing, making it suitable even for sensitive skin.
